Have you watched the organised fights between the Russian and Polish hooligans on the border between them on YouTube?, both sets are ****ing crazy, but tbf their lives are far different and far more violent than ours, also don't both countries have national service?
Seem to remember that was mentioned when the Russian mob attacked the England fans in France.

 

Yeah it's a completely different culture and lifestyle.

On the hooliganism it's like a sport in itself to the Russians. Mental.

 

I'm not an England or international football supporter tbh, but if I was I'd certainly think long and hard about going to Russia, if you wear anything bearing the three lions(flag)on their soil they take it as an insult and throwing the gauntlet down.
Blatter want shooting for accepting Putin's bribe and granting them the finals, obviously the vote was rigged.

 

I think in most cases at football even abroad it's a case of you won't get trouble if you don't go looking for it... that certainly won't be the case there though. They've blatantly come out and said as an England fan unless you're with a child you're a target.

Like I say I think the policing will be well on top in most cases and don't think we'll see many problems in the major cities... it's the smaller cities where most the issues will be imo.

 

Yeah, but don't forget, the England fans won't be staying in the top hotels(,well not many)so they have to make their way after games to the more shady backstreet ones, it's not rocket science to know the local firms will have them sussed out.

 

Yeah and you can't exactly stop locals from being in the area... the cities we're in for our group games are Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod & Kaliningrad... no idea on the size of these cities tbh.

The police will be just as big a worry... can't imagine them standing for England fans getting drunk and singing loads outside bars for hours on end.

 

You've got to well 'ard or completely stupid to pay mega bucks to risk your well-being in a country full of lunatics.

He went into cardiac arrest after being hit with something. The media are not saying if he was hit by a firework, as lots of them were being fired at the police, or by an object that was thrown, or even physically attacked.

 

Bars? I was in Yekaterinburg in 2013 and again in 2017. You will not find bars to the same extent as they are in Spain, Italy, France or the UK. When I was there guys were walkng the strees with crate loads of alcohol. Needless to say, I never stayed out late.
