Yeah that's right in corner of upper main and Anfield road stand roof blocks just the corner flag. In theory this seat would be unrestricted if fsg got their finger out.

There are worse views than this in new main stand around the premium seats.

 

I know but doesn't alter the fact that some £9 seats have really good views...... and some should be free ....

To be fair I don't think that's Anfield, the seats look black and white to me, I'd guess its an older stadium, somewhere like Fulham.

Though I have heard that watching the game from the back of lower Anfield Road is like watching the game through a post box

 

it is 100%

the front is fine.

there are a couple spots I think where the stanchions of the stands meet the ground that are poor.

I did see that the elevated premium section in the main stand severely restricts the view of non premium seats right next to it.

As it you have to stand to actually see half the pitch

 

i would hope the architects found they took a hit for such incompetence but i somehow doubt it.

 

I dunno but if doubt it too.

the reality is the entire interior was delayed and it was made out to be all fine.

the "this is Anfield" sign now looks a sad effort above a nothing door with a massive milling about area that's pointless.

zero thought was put into retaining the "magic". imo that says it all about our clubs owners and executives.

they got the premium right and **** the rest.

 

i'd blame the execs not the owners who surely wouldn't have detailed input rather they set the basic framework vis a vis cost / size in relation to revenue stream and the execs & the architects are responsible for the small details.

 

That bbc thing gives a season cost of £1200 for Liverpool.

I still find it shocking such a big club is in the bottom 5. manager really had to go.


west ham should be higher in table 100%


conversely no big teams from 6 to 20 in prem.. shocking.
