Anyone bought any of the shirts yet? I am tempted to buy the home one as I haven't bought one of our tops for a few seasons. Price, and the cheap looking sponsor logo puts me off though.
I was in Norwich the weekend after launch and had a look, same errea crap quality and didn't like it anymore than the online pictures. Maybe next season's will be worth a look. Bah!
I saw some people with it on in the city on Saturday. Was all said about how cheap it looks. Not just the logo, it looks like a knock off. But they are our official £48 top.
It wouldn't be so bad if the quality was reflected in the price - sadly with errea, that's not the case. The cartel on football shirts is frankly obscene. Retailers can be shut down for non-compliance??
Now the club are seemingly hell bent on communicating with us fans, I think it needs mentioning. Football fans are the worst consumers, blindly buying the shirts without consideration to quality, the message is too often we'll they bought it so it must be ok. Bah!
I really don't see you can hold the club accountable for that. For sure they choose the manufacturer and designs, but surely the marketing and pricing structure across the leagues ( yes, all a 'king joke, for a nylon shirt with a very limited shelf-life) are outside the NCFC remit? Football fans are mugs but if they voted en masse with their wallets, the cartel would break
Although I think all club shirts are grossly overpriced, we are not out of line with the market. Where we are out of kilter is that with errea we get crap quality, worse than many other brands operating in the market. I'm sure it's about margins but I'm sure at least one better brand would be happy to compete for the contract. How about Adidas or Puma come join our little German revolution! Bah!
Just seen that we're not the only ones in this league sporting this Errea cr@p please log in to view this image The Lions however appear to have last years shirt design
