Player of the season a year ago, where's he been this season? I know Leicester struggled for various reasons but............

Agree with that, but Leicester as a whole were a different animal after the change. Mahrez wasn't the only one 'underperforming'

Surely mahrez struggles shows he plays one way and when shakespeare went back to this long ball at vardy game he perked up.

It suggests you have to play to his game and change to accomodate? He wont just slot in.

    Are Sunderland women save?.

On a serious note, they need experienced manager if they want to come back up.

Sunderland will do well not to be relegated next year... they do not need giggs and giggs would be mad. He's found it isn't so easy to walk into a job hasn't he?

Both Mahrez and Vardy were suffering from a change of approach to accommodate Salami (forward they bought last summer).

They went back to 442 with Vardy up top after Ranieri left. Vardy explored the channels and space, Mahrez was able to find him or take advantage of the space Vardy created.

Sort of agree although I'd say Vardy was the only one giving him a option.

They were still 4-4-2 with slimani. Only thing is slimani is slow and requires crosses, something mahrez should have been able to deliver as he has a decent cross. Ranieri rotated and tried every forward combo though

I actually think their season changed when N'didi joined. He actually was able to replicate some of what Kante could do.

Imo they were playing 4411 or 433 most of the time to try and accommodate the loss of Kante whilst making Salami the target man for the likes of Vardy and Mahrez to feed off. It didn't work.

    4-4-1-1?

who was the 1 behind the striker? Vardy? That's exactly how they play with Okazaki.

Not really, world class defense with great keeper but two Madrid rejects and a slow striker asked to work the wings. Dybala is great but i can't see them troubling Real Madrid attacking wise.

Juventus probably at there strongest against Barca three seasons ago but lost 3-1. Unless they sit back and take this to pens i can't see Madrid not winning this.

I'm intrigued by how this match will go. World class defence deffo.

As for Real rejects, i can't argue against that either. I think the biggest thing is will Higuain finish his chances off as that man is the definition of big game bottler.

Have to disagree with them not troubling real attacking wise though. Juve have some very good passers on the ball and in Dybala have a gem. They have good movement and work rate, have good width in Sandro and Alves. Lastly, this is Madrid we are talking about, they are hardly the poster boys of solid defensively. They have good individual defensive talents but they don't defend brilliantly as a unit as half of them are caught up field (Hello Marcelo) and some of them walk around like Benzema and Ronaldo.
