Yeah that'll be right, he won't give a stuff about the £170m he's already put into Everton, he'll be far interested in the £23m he's spent on the Liver building.

    Kopite logic right there.

Of course he cares about the money he's already put it

The point is he's done with investing in you, now he's made it clear he's going to sit back and let you pay for the new stadium for him

He's bought a £300m+ stadium plus your club for £170m with no personal financial risk attached

But the biggest trick was convincing you lot it was good for you <laugh>

How did Arsenal fund their stadium?

How are Spurs funding their stadium?

Stadium funding is always external funds repaid by the football club business, it's how it works ffs.

Your Shermans only bought a single meccanno stand before you come back with that one, and they've ****ed off the idea of doing the Anfield Road end, after they got knobbled on the ticket prices. They've left the £95m of existing debt on your balance sheet though.

    Shhhhsh.

Buying Everton was just so he could spend £20m and get some extra rent in

Arsenal was funded by Highbury property development and Spurs plan to fund it by selling a stake in the club

    Wrong.

Arsenal borrowed £260m to fund the Emirates, via a bon scheme and it'll be repaid over 25 years.

Spurs have borrowed half of the stadium costs from 3 lenders - £350m worth, on a 5 year deal, which will be refinanced after the 5 year term.

The other half is coming from naming rights, renting it out to the NFL and cashing in ticket sales in advance.

Our lease will cost £15m a year, and that's before naming rights are even mentioned, which will cover it on their own.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he is "not in the mood" to discuss his future at the club following their 3-0 Premier League defeat by Crystal Palace.

<laugh> bad time to announce you've signed a 2 year extension?

Gonna watch Juve v Barca. Will be interesting to see their 3 front trio tested by a very able and street wise defence.

On a side note (and i don't want to rekindle the age old debate!!!) With messi on 94 and Ronaldo on 96 can either of them crack the 100 CL goal barrier this year?
I don't think they will get much out of Juve and Bayern respectively but with either Dortmund or Monaco in the Semis and given a run to the final via them and not Athletico it could be on.

Some crazy stat that but then their career stats do make for mind boggling reading.
