Can we win all our remaining fixtures? Yes.

Will we? Unlikely. Possible but not probable <ok>

Id love CL because I'd love to see teams like Barca, Dortmund, Madrid, Atletico, Bayern, Juve at anfield and test us to see how far we really have progressed, especially as klopp has us performing brilliantly against the top sides in Prem. Nothing beats a midweek game at Anfield with CL anthem being played. Even watching on tv gives you chills.

it's possible we can. It's impossible for city Arsenal and united to all get mad points because you all play each other which means we do have a bit of leeway in terms of dropping the odd point.

Absolutely, them Anfield nights against the Euro giants man but theoretically let's say we can win the PL next season with no CL, I'd take that for a year all day son. Then we just buy loads of top top top top top top top players and go win the CL the next season. Easy innit

    Sunday - Sunderland away - W
    Thur - Anderlecht away
    Sun - Chelsea home - D
    Thur - Anderlecht home
    Sun - Burnley away - W
    Thur - City away - L
    Sun - Swansea home - W
    Sun - Arsenal away - D
    Sat - Spurs away - L
    Sun - Palace home - W

I see United getting 14 points from those remaining games on basis of league positions. Beat those at bottom, draw / lose against those above and near depending on home / away. That's 68 points, if we win 4 of the next 6 we should get top 4 as it'll be 72 points. If united win a couple against Arsenal/Spurs etc then they might get around 72 as well.

If we don't get CL we'll be in EL (unless we have a dramatic fall from grace and end up 8th)

So we won't be able to fully focus on league next year, will have Europe of some kind.

Was looking at the table and I also think 4 wins should be enough to get top 4. Uniteds fixtures are horrendous. Still worried about arsenal though but even they have united and Spurs left.

Agreed. We should get top 4 and we should only need 4-5 wins out of the rest of the matches. To be honest with our run in the top 4 is ours to lose now.

If by now our team does not have the know how to beat a struggling team then they need shooting. Our winning run should start tonight.

The problem is that missing out on the CL means being in the EL which is worse as it's Thursdays and the lack of elite teams means going deeper in it than the CL, increasing the disruption even more.

For me there is no coincidence to Pools poor finish last year and utd's struggles this term and going deep in the EL.
Potchetino has worked it out and chucks the EL every time, a luxury not afforded to Pool or Utd given their history.

EDIT: Sorry bisc. Didn't see your earlier post saying same.

Our run in the UEFA Cup undoubtedly affected our finishing position in the prem.

MU are only in the last eight tbf, so they don't have the same excuse atm. :bandit:
