Anyone seen the second yellow guy got for Watford to get red card? Ridiculous how the ref gives it and the link who is 3 yards away does nothing. Both chasing for a ball, both have arms across each other and the West Brom forward just falls over.

 

Just goes to show, when on a yellow card don't be silly.

As time's gone on Utd have basically lost that defense... (even beofre this neville went and brown was just a make do) and the midfield

 

so.....

1. Leicester are now TOP HALF (10th) and on 36 points are just about safe.

2. Watford can now go on thier hols. 37 points.

3. the top 4 now looks like this: LFC 3rd on 59 points after 30 games. City 4th on 58 after 29 games. Utd 5th on 51 points after 28 games. If all worked out that would be City 61, LFc 59, Utd 57. (with 8 to go)

Utd need to win all remaining games now. LFc need to go get the wins that should be there like bournemouth at home...

If all things were equal 18 points more should be enough form 8 games. = 6 wins for lfc.

United have some horrible fixtures. If they get top 4 they'll have deserved it for their run in.

Thur - Anderlecht away
Sun - Chelsea home
Thur - Anderlecht home
Sun - Burnley away
Thur - City away
Sun - Swansea home
Sun - Arsenal away
Sat - Spurs away
Sun - Palace home

i see 3 bankers there v Sunderland Swansea and palace. City Arsenal Spurs away is horrible and could easily come away with 0 points from them and Chelsea home won't be easy. And if they go through in EL have to get 2 more games in there as well, guessing between Swansea Arsenal and Arsenal Spurs.

 

yes it is, there was enough we should have been looking at spurs for 2nd battle and of course should really have got to league cup final and humiliated utd.

utd wil beat arsenal imo

 

And city and Spurs! And Arsenal still have to play Spurs. Lots of them all have to play each other which is great for us, means not all teams can take max points

 

Not sure about palace until i noted its last game of season and palace will be safe...

To go away to anderlicked and then play the chavs at the toliet is not good. I think utd can play kis away and still go through though.

I would be willing to call it 6 wins from 10 with 3 draws. = 21 more manc points to reach 72 total right?

LFC are on 59 so then need 14 points which IMO would be risky but if we can't win 4 draw 2 of last 8 we don't deserve it anyway

 

Which means we should be able to drop a few but hopefully not starting tomorrow

yup win tomorrow is a must. start looking forward and seeing how fast we can win 6 games. I'd be delighted to be looking at last game of season with a 4/5 point gap and partying while boro waved bye to prem.

 

Of course in terms of status, attracting players, better money etc etc top 4 would be good for us

But I'm honestly not that arsed if we make it or not as long as we can keep hold of the current good personnel in our squad and positively add to that it's all good. Maybe we need to be in the top 4 to do that

In many ways - with the above caveat - I'd be alright if we weren't in the CL next season and we went full tilt for the league title, that's what I want us to win. We've won the CL, alright not really recently but within close memory, which is more than most fans get to experience, only the really young fans haven't experienced that. Basically I just really want LFC to win the feckin Premier league before I'm dead and before rhc is a double amputee !!

how many points REALISTICALLY do you think you will get assuming you have a run to europa semi finals.... its a big ask.

realistically how many now.. not just the usual we will win them all stuff?

I think LFC need 18 points.

I am honestly past the point of predicting, we should get 21+ points but would not be surprised with 15 or 16.

 

Those would be my best guesses on those fixtures (PL ones don't care about EL)

Utd were feckin dire tonight, absolutely terrible and I say that all bias aside, such an uninspiring, bland side to watch right now

Earlier there was a Paul Scholes highlights reel on think it was Sky, that was a player, how they could use that guy now
