    incidentally

    the prem has been the "most competitive" its been for years apparently with 6 big sides duking it out and all a class above the rest.

    yet those same clubs... 2 not even in europe. and 3 of the orther 4 total embaressments.

    It would seem the prem is mediocrity gone mad. Can these clubs get their act together as no clubs in that top 6 should go out of europe before qfs.

    The PL is **** league defensively and very few teams have any game awareness or control, It often just harem-scarem, end to end fair, hence the exciting games and massive TV value.

    Those flaws then get brutally punished in the later stages of CL.

    Also the overall competitiveness of the PL, makes for a tough season for the top teams as opposed to varying numbers of more comfortable games for the the likes of Real, Barca, Juve and Bayern.

    Although they are still better than anything the PL currently has to offer.

    you've got it on the button there. when you get beaten regularly by monaco as now two english clubs have in successive years however thats really just not good enough.

    Pogba is having a terrible game even by Pogba standards. I am sure Utd will win comfortably, but they are making hard work against
    a team that offer very little except a desperate defence. It was never a penalty when Miki was caressed by the keeper and flew 10 yards when falling over. I am not an expert on pancakes, but I know a tosser when I see one!
