He wishes he'd stayed at Everton where he wasn't expected to be any use.

And his ****ness went under the radar...

And he was rated as a £50m footballer...

And he only had to play once a week...

i sincerely doubt that he's lost out by "resigning" from the club. As in i sincerely doubt he was actually paid.

He waited til all 3 subs were used then completed an 8/1 bet and probably cleared himself a nice bonus.

If the club gave the players any money from the run i'd say he wisely "invested" it.

At this stage of last season we had 23 games in all comps remaining, man u had only 16 in league/FA Cup and not a murmur from Sky Sports but they are now playing the same sad tune as Maureen and the BBC sport dept.

    http://www.skysports.com/football/n...p-fa-cup-and-europa-league-fixture-congestion

No doubt cup commitments hindered us in the league last season and gave the likes of the mancs more impetus to finish higher than us, but when this was pointed by us out it was scorned upon.

I felt we let ourselves down a bit in the league personally. we took a decision i nthe FA cup to go with the muck all through and lost in that but i just felt we made it very clear to certain players that the league didn't really matter due to who was being picked... and it showed

I utd **** up they have more players than us and really i'd be surprised they if they are as lax as we were i nthe league last year

Yeah, but should we finish higher than them no doubt Maureen will point out their schedule as the excuse.
I'm just pointing out that they're no exception when it comes to fixture congestion as Sky Sports would lead us to believe.

he's always looking for any excuse though.

they though have the possibility of not turning up for a game and just having it rescheduled as they have everyone bent over backwards for them.

last seasno they should have been told to ge tout on pitch on time irrespective and were given nearly an hour extra cos they ****ed up the traffic.

Last year we pretty much wrote off the league in final 3/4 games in prep for cup final. Without that cup final probably would have won couple more as wouldn't have played much weaker teams.

Makes me laugh managers moaning and about fixture congestion. Only congested because you're in cups... surely you're in cups to win them so you're bound to play more games? Getting to stage where seems like teams would be happy to take a year of no cups to have clean run at league like we/Leicester/Chelsea have done in last few years.

Leicester will probably play well tonight, then Ranieri will then say that this could be a turning point in their season if they can take this form into the league only to play **** in the next game. <diva>

They've already done that themselves with the sponsor choice and - if it's to be believed - having read a fan article about the club's poorly thought out sponsor choice, the club have deleted tweets and remarks on club run forums from fans who protested ultimately causing them to walk away from the club. The Sutton management seems rotten to me from the very little I've read.

When we won the champion league during the time of Rafa Benitez, Liverpool's league form was not
very good (though we are far from relegation zone). Leicester have the quality to stay up.

So we're selling Melwood and moving our senior squad to our youth academy in Kirkby, apparently our owners have chosen the London firm of architects that were responsible for amongst other things the Olympic Stadium, there surely must be local architects that are good enough and who would benefit from the cash the club are splashing out on its design and build.
If our owners want to truly connect with the city they should try using local contractors whenever possible.

I thought it was the same architects they used for the main stand. I agree with you though it would be nice to use local firms.
