On a serious note I don't think there are many things that Ronaldo can do and Messi can't, but there are a LOT of things Messi can do that Ronaldo can't.

 

Can Messi celebrate a last minute penalty in a game already won as if it was the most decisive moment of the competition?

Can Messi let his team lose a penalty shootout by choosing to go fifth so the camera is on him longer but not even getting that far?

 

Ronaldo is a better goal scorer and athlete - but messi is the better footballer. Both are incredible players but there shouldn't be a debate.

 

I wouldnt even Say he's a better goal scorer. Messi's stats are just as good as Ronaldos across all comps

think Messi needs less chances as well. Ronaldo seems to waste a lot of efforts, especially from long range.

They're two entirely different types of player so comparisons are subjective.
C Ronaldo is quite predictable - you know what he's going to do most of the time, but he's just so bloody good at it he still can't be stopped.
Messi is messimerising in his unpredictability - like with Suarez you just wonder how the hell he did it.
Making comparisons according to achievements is always dodgy because they're a part of their respective teams not just individuals.

 

How are Leicester appealing against Vardys red? Stone wall... should be another game added for wasting time.

Hmmm not sure. Wasn't really a 2 footed challenge for me. It wasn't like he jumped in Rojo style. It was more because the stoke guy made contact which cause him to tackle in that sort of motion. even then its clear 1 foot is ahead of the other. I don't even like Jamie Vardy but i thought it was harsh unlike Rojos who should have been sent off twice

 

After the 2 missed reds by the mancs, I can't see how the referee could have acted any different. He was airborne? Yes. He didn't have control ? Yes. he could have injured the other player? Yes.

There is absolutely no way the fa can rescind that red without damaging that rule.

 

Messi has more assists in 159 less appearances over his career and a better goal to game ratio than Ronaldo. I don't think Ronaldo is even a better goalscorer than him, especially considering how much Messi contributes to build up play and creating other goals yet still manages to better Ronaldo's goal ratio.

 

I doubt he makes any challenges for you mate

Maradona also ,almost by force of will ,dragged a dreadful Argentina to another WC final yet Messi has done nowt in WC's. Maradona also took Napoli from nowhere to the top of Italian footy.
He might have been obnoxious but he did it at the highest level where as Messi hasn't .All he has done is be brilliant in a brilliant team
