This is a grass roots problem frank. not club connected.

Regardless of whether it may or may not bring us our first title in years by others wrong doings.

Did anyone care that city and Chelsea have brought their honours or utd used to bully the fa and refs to win theirs?

All that is remembered is who won, not how.

You want to go down the morale route, yes dif story, but end result still the same.

Who cares we got shafted in the 60's by bribe and corruption from Italian teams? no one.

Or English fans attacked in Europe? yet retaliation from our clubs here dif story. ie instant ban.

The whole of football is a joke. esp fifa, eufa and fa.

I would be embarrassed to play now days with how the game is ruined by premadonas (that to be fair prob told by their club to do it)

You're right of course. glad our club doesn't seem tainted by this. while I'm reluctant to punish any club if the failures happened 30/40 years ago, any club who continued to try and cover it up deserves punishment and severe punishment.

Although if we won it on a technicality I suspect we'd never hear the end of it. obviously before anyone jumps in we would have to be in the position in the first place and it's too early to call yet. also looking at other enquiries the police have to do their thing first so it may not effect this season at all.

Of course it's not a problem if we are sitting top at the end....

Adam Morgan has scored 2 Vs Wimbledon in the FA Cup to put his side Curzon Ashton up at HT. Really glad for him and hope he can get his career back on track.

Thought he looked great for us when he first got chances. Reminded my (in style) of David Villa. Another youngster I was left disappointed about

I don't think it would be at all fair to punish Chelsea or any club with a points deduction, which imo should only be used for football related matters. If this is seen to be an attempt to cover up abuse then this is surely a criminal matter and should be pursued legally?

The only people that would be really affected by a points deduction are the current coaching staff, players and fans. None of which had anything to do with the abuse suffered by players in the 70s.

You're right and any police investigation takes priority.

I think points deduction or even automatic relegation is being talked about to equalise similar misdemeanours by several clubs in a way financial penalties by the FA can't. .The likes of Chelsea won't even flinch at even a severe fine yet it could seriously damage a lower league club. would it be fair that one club feels the punishment more than another for a similar offence.

Think the FA has to be seen to be intolerant to show that covering it up for even a couple of decades won't work..That keeping child abuse under wraps is no longer an acceptable way to face it by an organisation. .

Unless it's the current club boards that continued to try and keep it under wraps by paying victims hush money..something Chelsea appear to have admitted to. that's stops it merely being historical and implicates the modern club?

Manu should be down to 10 already, Rojo two footed tackle escapes with a yellow

a yellow card for a challenge that simply couldn't be anything other than a straight red.

Bigger bottle job than our mob

Another bottling ref...didn't show a clear yellow card to Barry so decided he couldn't show a clear red to Rojo . ..

And Barry shouldve had a 2nd yellow for deliberate handball there..

Not booking Barry yet either, both the early tackle and the deliberate handball worth a yellow

Crazy... even worse he can't be retro banner as ref booked him.

Barry could arguably be off for tackle an handball, somehow got away with both.

When the keeper has to come out of his area to get the ball you know he's made the wrong choice
