It might have started out in the journalist's mind trying to justify what mourinho said but the article makes no mention of his point and then gives a childlike justification for its headline that pogba was a bargain.

Its Ok I understand why numbers and lists confuse you but if you could just point out where in the article it compares the pogba deal to other clubs purchases that are as Jose put it "bigger deals" then I would be grateful.

Man city were fortunate yesterday. Swansea played very well. As for the penalty, about as weak as the one Sturridge won. The taking of the penalty though was ridiculous, Aguero stopped and every player encroached.

 

You have a point but he could at least try to acknowledge that there are problems and tell people what rooney adds to the team in that role, rather than his ' he was good in the past so we must stand by him' line of reasoning.

true but he seems like he's running on pure anger in that studio which is blocking any rational though taking place, probably more angry about his worth as a pundit being knocked by a caller, than the caller knocking Rooney with a reality check which they all know is the truth
