Eh? Did you miss the new TV deal announcement? I'm not suggesting we have 100m for transfers, just that we have 100m to spend that we have received from the PL. On wages, on stadium improvements, player purchases, etc. Kinda why in the post I said we might have 20m for player purchases.
To answer your question I didn't miss the 'TV Deal Announcement' Not a penny will get spent on any stadium improvments! If the Allams don't sell the club any day soon, and stay, I anticipate they will 'trouser' a fair amount of the income, reduce their financial exposure (and City's debt to allamhouse), and in doing so reduce the selling price of the club for a propsective purchaser as it will have lower debt. If they do sell, I personally don't want to see ourselves spending to the hilt and putting the club at financial risk at some point in the future. £20m for player purchases, who knows! If that were the case we should invest in two quality signings only, one being a striker, the rest being loans, failing which we will be shopping on free transfers in 'Poundland'.
So you whine we'll be shopping in Poundland but now want us to be shopping in Poundland. Arf Syd rip him apart.
Where am I whining? Just stating what I forecast may happen, nothing more, nothing less Stop whining about other posters posts!
Ok..? That's pretty much what I said in my post. I was saying we could spend a decent amount AND pay down the debt. They may well choose to use the majority of it to pay down the debt. Christ, some people really need to read posts properly before throwing a tantrum.
I think thats what I said................I agree if he sells, he will/should leave player investment to any new owner who would also want that. I didn't mention if he stays............I agree, he will have to invest to some extent if he has any intention of attempting to stay in 'the promised land' I think we are on the same page
Okay, given this is a City transfer thread and I couldn't be bothered to troll through all the posts, all I'd picked up on was one earlier response to your original post stating we have £100m to spend! We don't is my view so lets agree to disagree. Yours tantrum cheshire!
The post you picked on was this one: To which you asked me what I'd been smoking. I thought this post was pretty clear.
