For goodness sake, can we not set our sights a little higher than Rickie Lambert and Hal Robson Kanu? Christ.

There's talk of Danny Ings going out on loan from Liverpool next season, is that any better for you? Fact remains that whilst Ehab remains, and holds the purse strings we'll be shopping in 'Poundland'!

Agree.

History proves this with the pound land style fees for Huddlestone, Livermore, Long, Jelavic, Hernandez, Snodgrass etc. even the n the championship he wouldn't open his chequebook and we were stuck with signing players like Odubajo on the cheap.

He's not going to 'flash the cash' while he's looking to sell <doh>

Would love room see Ings here bur realistically he would go back to Burnley on loan (lives in area and still has respect of fans).

I think Ings will stay at Liverpool thougj

I suggested him yesterday. Agreed he needs to **** or get off the pot, sort the manager situation out and we can crack on.

Warm weather training is soon, I imagine signing players would be a faff then as well, although I don't know if it presented a problem in the past.

Given the increase in TV revenue and the rewards for staying up, I’d have thought the current board (if it remains) will spend at least as much in transfer fees as they did in the last Premier League season.
