No, it wasn't random. We were talking about a Liverpool striker being available - or not - for loan. Balotelli is a Liverpool striker who is available for loan. See? Good. I take it nobody found the post when I said we should sign Balotelli?
The misses in the League Cup last season against us were pretty good too! But yeah he's a legend of the Soccerroos.
If he got a run at semi-decent team then he will bag at least 10+ in the Prem, unfortunately for us we are not even near the semi part of decent right now. Can't see the point in getting in somebody clapped out on loan when you could get a fit young lad who wants to play and has massive technical ability. We will end up signing somebody in their mid 30-s who will be bloody useless, like the early 90's with Ternent history repeating itself
I agree, I don't think he'll disrupt the squad harmony because there's only 8 of them anyway. He's a talented lad and if the deal suited us then I'd be happy to have him on loan.
The tongue ones true! I've just tried it! but I can imagine you could practise not using your tongue because people who've had their tongues chopped off would be able to swallow ok I suppose? But I can imagine it's a strange feeling at first & would take some getting used to?

I agree he could be good for somebody, just not us. We need everyone putting everything into the team collective rather than putting themselves first, which sadly is something Mario has consistently done.

OK Cleverclogs, tell me a better striker who would sign for us? I think it's your tone on here winds people up, I don't mind people who know better about football putting me in my place but I'm not sure you come into this category. Balotelli is at these top clubs for a reason
He will come back posting stats about Man City and Liverpool as if Balotelli had been playing for the likes of us, a bit like he did with Jones v Chester despite the fact anybody actually watching Man U and Jones in recent seasons can see Jones is all at sea a lot of the time and has the composure of a headless chicken
Hernandez was going missing a lot last season which is a point which seems to be missed, so what if he goes missing if he then bags us 10+ goals which if he is confident then he will do with his sensational technique
