    The pointless goals argument is a non starter as the league has a goal difference count end of...
    like I said earlier if Liverpool won the league on goal difference you lot would take that....ALL goals count lol

    But if you end a season on equal points and have a better goal difference and stay up or win a title then the goals you have scored mattered and arent pointless yes?
    Therefore all goals matter....
    is that correct Astro?

    Only if you play for a team challenging for the title or relegation. Which hasn't happened in Lukaku's lifetime. Well the title part at least.

    And if he got the assist for the other goal he'd get 3 points

    Lukaku doesn't score those kind of goals often though
