2015-16 Season Progress (perfect for the Astro disciples)

What I find funny is the world Astro has constructed in his mind and what it must be doing to him every time reality comes crashing in

 

So astro rushes off on one of his drug mule trips the minute Liverpool get twatted.

Amazing how poor our team is after the money we spent.

We are limping to the summer... hopefully then Klopp can deliver us a squad without huge gaps and players that weren't picked from a PL sticker book.

 

But these players beat City and Chelsea, where has all the "gangbang" pressing gone the last 6/7 games?

I grew up with an old saying, a poor workman blames his tools.

 

Can't press a team that don't want the ball like Watford & West Brom.

 

So what do you do then, just give it them so they can do something with it?

 

That's what Watford did. They basically gave us the ball and crowded us out in the centre because we had no width and they are especially good at defending central areas then hit us on the break. Klopp tried to take advantage of the fact they defend so narrowly but because Rodgers has left us with no wingers it meant the players we did get into dangerous positions out wide we couldn't take advantage of the positions they got into. And it obviously didn't help that we had no strikers in the box to take advantage of any crosses that would come in anyway.

I've been banging on about it for ages, but we have no players with goalscoring instincts in the team. We've been signing players that don't really have a history of scoring goals. How are we supposed to score goals if every single attacking player we have has a poor record of scoring goals.

 

What didn't help was Can and Sakho keep giving them the ball back in dangerous positions.
Benteke has quite a good goal scoring history

 

Sakho had an off day, happens to the best of them. Can had an off day too, but the main problem was that all of our players were coming central to pick the ball up and Watford's narrow & organised defence were well suited to crowd us out of the game.

I know, that's the only argument for his inclusion, his performances don't merit inclusion and he's clearly not suited to anyone's style of play in the squad.
