Fwiw it's about Pedro. IF we're buying him, I am sure United expect to pay the release clause. The best they could try is having some small amount as add ons but no way are they haggling.

Where the **** did that come from

 

Well, if a release clause is met then obviously Barca won't have a choice (depending on the wording; aka Suarez and £40m ). However, although release clauses are compulsory in Spanish football contracts, they are rarely a realistic amount. I can't see Pedro's release clause being lower than £25m but of course, I have no way of knowing this either.

 

Don't start with the technicality's, you have never been one for back tracking, you just change the outcome to suit your posts

A release clause is no more than a minimum basis to approach a player/agent, it has little to do with his sale price.

There's a big part of me that thinks this running after big names that suddenly become available is becoming a distraction. We should be planning our signings (big name or not) better than we are. Pedro could be as big a waste of time as Ramos was. Just need to focus on filling positions.
