One question though. Aren't humans actually the best long distance runners on the planet? Something about the fact that we can cool ourselves down while running long distances while most animals can't. That's how they hunted before, apparently. Chase an animal until it overheated and was weak from exhaustion then take it out.

Yep, but you are spoiling my fun <grr>

We do have the ability to run great distances at a moderate speed as you say but, it should only be done 2 or 3 times a week which would be more than enough to feed you :emoticon-0100-smile

Sorry. At least you've still got your smoking, drinking and sugary snacks to look forward to <laugh>

We do have the ability but I think I'll just stick to going Tesco and getting my food from there!!

Really? As opposed to wolves or African hunting dogs? Or did I miss the joke lol..

On the smoking front...I refuse to smoke in a room with non smokers...even if someone comes round my house I go out to smoke...my choice not theirs.

Don't even smoke in a room with my dog lol...

No, its true. Animals can't cool their bodies down so they have to stop after a certain distance because they basically overheat.

Ahhh..get what you mean now....continuous non stop running....the fact we can change our gait...as well as the sweating...so one Wolf vs on human running in a strait line until they have to stop....

I'm still pretty sure that if you had ten naked humans and ten African hunting dogs start a hunt on the plains of Africa after a wildebeest we'd lose over the xk it can take...

Tracking, spacial awareness..pre planning ..problem solving our the functions we adopted to mitigate the lack of physical speed, strength etc...

But you'd not think it with the amount to self abuse these guys are in to.

It's always the same... same as cannibas thread.

Someone likes something and they make up every excuse under the sun to do it which are irrational.

Worst of the lot are coffee drinkers. Total muppets.

Nothing wrong with a bit of caffeine, several sugars along with a good ole cigarette in the morning. After that I will then go and fry myself up some lovely hot sizzling fat congealing bacon for the good old arteries, followed around lunch time by walking over the pub to down a few pints of ale, hopefully during the latter all them drivers are paying full attention as i stumble in the road, not that it matters if a machine kills me, because that is acceptable, essential for everyday life road kill. And don't worry every time you turn that key and pollute that planet more than cigarettes ever could that will eventually wipe out every human with it's passive emissions because again that is acceptable behaviour. Any way I wish you all a very good Sunday morning, be careful not to choke on your Easter roast we don't want the coronary reporting you lived a healthy lifestyle but died by letting it go down the wrong hole, now that would just been plain embarrassing and at such a young age too.

    Happy Easter my friends x

This post comes with an EU health warning, today is windy outside, please watch out for falling roof tiles, trees, aerials and diving seagulls EU regulation 3-2 to the England.

A cup of freshly ground coffee on a Sunday morning is one of life's simple pleasures.

How good were we last night?

We actually used our strengths and ran at Germany and passed the ball nice and quickly.

It was a pleasure to watch and both Vardy's and Kane's goals were world class.

    Very pleased.
