Consistent qualifiers just to be alsorans. But the Arsenal board couldn't give a ****, just as long as they get the CL money.

 

Again, who missed the biggest chance there? Neymar, or Suarez against the post? neymar tried to walk it in.

 

Neither does Wenger so long as he continues to get his slices of the CL and transfer profits

Suarez goes out wide, drags the defenders and creates the space. He does that time and time again - inteligent and selfless movement.

And Suarez has actually been the better player this season. Guy is incredible.

Having said all that - all 3 are immense.

 

And oddly enough, the same number as Klopp

 

Arsenal's record in the CL is a spectacular record of failure. And the worst thing about it is they actually boast about their record of getting out of the groups for however many years. I'd rather win it once and not get out of the group for the next 15 years then qualify for the knock-out round every year but never come close to winning it.

 

Think Arse did as well as they could apart from not scoring any. Can't see anyone stopping Barca scoring, even when they're iffy like tonight. But they're not failsafe at the back.

They had a game plan for about 60 mins which was to defend deep and catch them on the counter - but by that point, they looked knackered after Barca dragged them all over.

Unlucky for Arsenal - they had chances but so did Barca and they had more despite not playing at their best.

 

**** me, Arsene reckons they'll get 5 at the Nou Camp. More realistic saying Barca'll get 95.

It was a counter-attack in a moment when Arsenal lost their shape and focus. Suarez was already out wide and ready for the break. It's hardly above and beyond what you'd expect any decent player to do.

Yeh they're very good in La Liga. But tonight we're talking about the toughest part of the toughest competition Barca are playing in. Other than Messi, the other two did very little. Messi bossed that final third and rightly so. That front 3 is a very good attack but without him, the other two aren't the same players.

I actually thought messi was quite only good tonight. He was on the ball loads cause thats what the barca players do pass to messi. Until he scored his goal i felt messi just slowed the pace down and lost the ball a fair bit. Suarez had a pretty poor game and missed 3 sitters. Saying that i saw loads of good runs from him but no one passed him the ball.

Neymar i thought was really decent. He took his players on time and again linked up well and made a really good assist to messi. Only criticism of him was that he missed 3 sitters
