They just look like there's no plan any more. A brief pick up then it's all gone again. They are still 5th.

    5th but slowly dropping away

We will finish above them in the league, no matter what happens with their manager

There's no doubt in my mind he's lost the dressing room. But I doubt very much they're trying to get him the sack. It's just Van Gaal's clueless and gutless approach that's our undoing. The guy is an out of touch relic in the game.

It's a good job this game didn't happen a couple of weeks earlier

£71 for that and FSG would have easily got away with £77 at Anfield

Kudos to you for showing up again, Trebs. <applause>

Credit where it's due - you're no fairweather type, unlike others on your board I could mention...

I'm like a bad penny, I always turn up! Which is more than can be said for United these days :( Anyway fair's fair, we were w@nk. I still lay sole responsibility on the gutless c*nt in charge though.

Totem pole head reckons they got beat by "the law of Murphy"

He couldn't admit they got beaten fair and square by a team of leprechauns.

"I think the law of Murphy. When you start the game and your goalkeeper is number 40 then you are not starting like usual I think. A lot of things are happening in the heads of the players and in the first 10/15 minutes we were not so good. After that we were better but it was too much. The second half we don't win any duel, any second ball so yeh. Then you can not avoid a second goal but we could have scored also. Lingard had two remarkable chances so it is the law of Murphy I think.

"Yes I think in certain phases we were not very good organised because we didn't do thinks - with set pieces for example - and that never happens. And that happens when you play another team every week and with other players.

"Yes. It's always possible in football but we have the chance to beat them at home and I think we have to do that.

"De Gea has a knee problem so we have to wait and see. Investigate tomorrow with a scan or something like that, we cannot answer now.

"Yes but he did it also at the beginning of the season. I have enough confidence in him. The first goal is deflected also - it's unbelievable this is happening.

"It's not good because I thought we have the possibility to win this game but still we have the chance to do it at Old Trafford."

Aye...it was that number 40 keeper that was at fault..making those damn saves and all.

And we were a splodge of pure unadulterated GREEEEN!
