again.... sky customers ripped off royally.

 

It's advertised as being able to record three and watch a fourth but you can't. If you're recording three then you have to watch one of them three too. That or don't watch tv (might be able to watch something already recorded though, not tried that)

The HD option is a necessity of you want the tivo box. Costs me £70pcm (was £56pcm when i signed up) for extra large TV package including Tivo and a second HD box for upstairs, phone and 64mb internet. I've not got Sky Sports, I use my Now TV box for that as it's cheaper.

 

They charge more if your TV is bigger?

Depends what you want to watch. If you want to watch as much football as possible then it's not cheaper. If you only want to watch Liverpool games it is.

You can't pay a monthly subscription to Now TV anyway. It's either a day pass (£6.95) or week pass (don't know how much). You can get day passes cheaper on eBay, occasionally there are offers on things like Carling (nope) that gives a free day pass.

Over the last three seasons, the most Liverpool have been on Sky Sports in one month is four and I believe that as happened just once. Four x £7 is £28 which is still cheaper than a monthly subscription.

 

They do have all the cricket though, that's what gives them the edge over BT at the moment for me (Ashes & County)
