    Harsh on Monk.

Hope Rodgers goes to Swansea or maybe abroad. That's his level and I hope he does wel there.

I also hope he can sign Lovren, Skrtel, Allen, Benteke.

Not really, Monk has been playing Van Gaal esque football with Swansea and was dragging them down. His backs to the wall football worked okay last year and was very much results based. This year he's been terrible. Plus the unsavoury way that he got Sousa sacked and Laudrup i have no sympathy for him

Didn't know about his roles in their sackings, I hate players like that.

It's a shame - I did hope that he could get them back to playing good football. Hopefully they get a manager who is more in line with the underlying philosophy.

The Monk's record was about the same as Laudrup and he went so it's not a surprise

To be fair, the Sousa thing is in his book and the Laudrup one is a bit sketchy but seems to be the general consensus on the swans board.

As for the Swans lets hope they get back on track as they were playing the game in the right way. I think Brenden would be good for them and it would be good for him too. As for Swans the club, i'm not sure about them recently, they seem to be involved in a lot of controversy:

    - Ballboy being told to keep the ball from Hazard
    - Engineered sacking of Laudrup and massive legal wrangling afterwards on compensation as they originally said he was sacked for misconduct. No surprise all of Laudrups spanish players didnt want to play for Swans again
    - Vorms sell on fee not being honoured, the argument is either he went on a free, or the player swap for Gylfi or something along the lines of that so no fee was involved.

Can't see Rodgers going back. Think he'll want a team regularly challenging for Europa either here or abroad and not sure how swans fans would react to that...

Monks a bit unlucky, was great last year and then this year his best players just don't seem to be up for it. Sigg has dropped, Britton is out the team, Montero got off to flyer then dropped for not performing and Gonis went through his purple patch before suddenly not scoring again.
Ayew has been the one positive, but it seems a good year last year doesn't save you if you do **** anymore.

  9. Arsenal just gone 3-0 up via a Giroud hat-trick.

Basically through now. They needed to win by two clear goals or win a high scoring game (3-2 or greater). Olympiacos now need three goals!

Gary Neville having a great start to his Valencia career. It'd be absolutely hilarious if he only lasts 10 games or so and has to return to TV punditry with all of his credibility gone.

Quite like him, bit of a dick but at least he's not boring and follows the crowd like a lot of others.

Don't have BT sport so can't remember any of them really other than Owen.

They probably spent so much money on obtaining the rights that couldn't afford decent ones.
