Clare Vs Laois Galway v Limerick Wexford Vs Kilkenny Cork Vs Tipp I. An easily see a clean sweep for 1a teams there. Dubs at waaaaaaterford to play off for relegation. Clare only had 14 for most of the game. The Clare free to get the draw was a monster.
Believe it or not apparently Antrim didnt try too hard last week [Offaly], as they were already in trouble, and were saving themselves for relegation play off this week at home against the same opposition.. ?
How the **** did that happen? Some game in Thurles. Tipp shot out the gate and were 2-4 to no score up. The Rebels came roaring back and now trail by 3. 2-8 to 2-5. An inexperienced full back line took a bit of a roasting for a wee while but came back really strong.
Good game alright, could still go either way. Antrim stay up, they were 12-4 down after 25 mins but came back to win. Last weeks tactics may have worked.
Tipp deserved it in the end up 3-25 to 4-19. Nash was never going to get that last one to level it. Cracking game. Really enjoyable. Sad to lose it, but we are where we need to be at this time of year.

Clare v Tipp is a mouth watering clash, although Laois must have asked a few questions today, going by the scoreline.
Just too big a gap. I'd love someone to step up, but it ain't happening. Offaly avoided relegation to Division 2A as a goal from Joe Bergin and a brace from Stephen Quirke helped them overcome Kerry in Semple Stadium today. Offaly were forced to play the majority of the second half with just 14 players after Seán Cleary was sent off in the 44th minute. This didn't deter Offaly who ran out 14-point winners in the end. Kerry, with the wind at their backs, started superbly and registered seven unanswered points within nine minutes of the throw-in. Wing forward Shane Nolan, who finished the day with eight points, scored four of those seven as Eamonn Kelly side looked to upset the odds and gain promotion to Division 1B. Offaly rallied though, as Brian Carroll and Conor Mahon found their range with a number of well-taken scores. The crucial score came two minutes from half time as captain Joe Bergin rattled the Kerry net. The Seir Kieran clubman beat Bryan Murphy to Conor Mahon's delivery before rifling past Kerry custodian Tadhg Flynn, who had denied Bergin a goal just a minute earlier. Shane Nolan notched a last minute free to make it 1-8 to 0-11 at half time. With the game tied at 1-10 to 0-13 in the 44th minute, Offaly suffered a blow as full forward Seán Cleary was sent off by referee Johnny Ryan. Despite their numerical disadvantage, Offaly scored their second goal after 52 minutes. Stephen Quirke was played in by Mahon and the St Rynagh's man finished past Flynn in the Kerry goal. Shane Nolan scored a 65 for Kerry in the 59th minute and this proved to be their last score of the game as Offaly scored a further 1-6 in the closing stages with Quirke grabbing their third goal in the 64th minute. Brian Carroll scored three points of that 1-6 to finish with an impressive personal tally of eight points. I never spoke about the games last week. Tipp Vs Kilkenny final. I'm saying Clare were going half pace but they weren't firing on all cylinders. Tipp looked good although I'm thinking back 12 months to the great game between KK and. Tipp and where both of those sides ended up in the championship.
Kilkenny and Tipp have gone to extra time in the final. Tj Reid got a couple of pens.... Same as Nash takes them but without the consistency of argument.
Kk steal it with 10 seconds to go. Like last year the league final sets the year up lovely. Well done to Kilkenny and to the referee for jobs they did in making sure Tipp didn't win. 2-25 to 1-27
