Those idiots in the paddock should check his twitter account. Almost every day since the karting race at Wroom he's been training hard. There's no way he could be injured. I suspect the reason he's skipping it is because he wants more time on a better circuit, and based on Hembery's comments that looks to be a very good decision. De La Rosa has improved to a 1:20.316 please log in to view this image
Am I an idiot then? I am just perplexed as to why he would not want to test in Jerez. Well done Hamilton and Gutierrez, Pic is almost at the century.
It looks like the W04 still chews up it's tyres but nowhere near as bad in the past looking at the times and going against the sauber.
No, the idiots are the ones in the paddock who say he's injured his rib while karting. That's a very specific thing to say - you either have inside info or you're spreading ****. His twitter account proves he has no injury.
I suppose it depends on whether the upgrades are so significant for the next test that it is purely correlation data they are after.
I think i'm turning into Ted Kravitz!! (In a excitement about F1 cars sort of way...). I love the detail on the rear end of the cars. the different exhaust layouts, the coke bottle area and the other small details around that area. I'm interested to see how teams are exploiting the exhaust gases in different ways.
