Murphy's goal sounded pretty good.

True, but at this stage it's all about match-fitness and a decent workout in circa 30 degrees certainly achieves that!

Good to hear Fox was heavily involved. And goals for Becchio and Murphy is great! Can't wait for the next 2 games to see RvW and Fer in action!

 

I've often encountered this when in the States. Last time it was a lady with a relative living in Manchester. She thought I must have met him! But there again, how much do we know about every place in California, never mind the US? Also, most every place in the US is a "city", including what we would call a village. Lost Springs is a town, but you get the picture ........

 

Lovely goal, although what really struck me was the ball over the top in the build-up. Surely that can only have been Fox with the outside of his boot?

 

Fox looked like he had a good game. Hope it's a sign of things to come!

 

Rather than separate threads for our pre-season friendlies, what about a single mega thread? Maybe the City v Dorados thread could be merged too?

I've set an alarm but I give it a 50/50 chance I just roll over and turn it off

 

I've attempted doing that before and failed, the temptation to carry on sleeping always wins lol.

I'll probably just end up watching the highlights.
