Round 6 - Canada As some of you may have guessed, this isn't going to commence in FP1 or FP2... Current tables: please log in to view this image With EMSC still AWOL, BLS has offered to step into the vacant Williams seat, opening up a spot at Mclaren. To give people time to change seats if they so wish (I'm sure Sgt Bhaji would like a team mate!), I'm going to try and delay the race slightly (although still within the GP weekend) to give people a chance. As we've had lots of new members join recently, I feel a refresh of the rules is in order: The game is really simple, the race begins when a certain trigger happens, sometimes it's me posting "s t a r t" (without spaces) somewhere on the F1 board, or sometimes it's linked to the grand prix itself, like a certain lap number, or a target lap time. When you realise it's happened, you post "finish" in this thread, and pick up points based on how quickly you respond. This season-long edition is ran to coincide with every GP weekend (except we missed the first), with an extra event scheduled for the mid-season break in August. If anyone, new member or old, wishes to join up, or change team, now is the time to do it! The race will begin when... When the pole-setter completes their fastest lap in qualifying. So if you think a lap is good enough, you can post before the end of Q3, but will be disqualified if you're wrong. To finish, post: "Finish : <driver name> - <lap time> So if Vettel is fastest, with a 1min13.567, post "Finish: Vettel -1min13.567 Any questions, please ask.
Sorry, qualifying. Thought I'd mentioned that but clearly not. Hopefully most of tomorrow is enough for anyone who wants to change teams to say so. I'm also unlikely to be around for the race.
What happens if someone posts confidently on the first lap in Q3 and it's wrong? Is it game over for them?
, seriously though congrats. (feel free to take as many points off RR and ELB as you like) and think of it this way, usually it's Vettel on the long pole streak not the be the driver to end somebody else's, so it's definitely better like this!
