I think this is about us. Both have been linked to us and this sounds as if it was written about us. 18 May 2013 10:25:12 Scott Flinders and Jean-Yvez M'Voto are going to be announced as our first pair of signings a couple of days before the release of the season ticket sales to prove to the fans that the club still mean business and to try and get more season ticket sales
French too. Started off with PSG. Be nice to have a bit of international in the team. We don't have many. Marv, Neil and Albert.
If he is 6ft 4inches WIDE, it won't matter! I saw him in both cup ties v Liverpool and Everton and he looked very solid.
If his agent can make more money either way thats the way he will go either to us, stay with Cheltenham or go elsewhere to any agent it's money that talks.
18 May 2013 12:45:56 Bristol City are interested in Coventry's John Fleck, a Left sided midfielder who can also oppirate in the center. At 21 he suits the youth policy. -CH
If we have signed Flinders and this Energy fella plus our highly rated youngster ( Dylan CasaNostra is it?) why would we be after Brown as well? Something not right here.
Just had a thought when I woke up this morning 'and before someone else say's it unusual for me I know' the sort of on/off rumours about Scott Flinders transfer to City does make sense, as at first he might have not been too keen to come and play second fiddle to Heaton for the no:1 jersey, however now that Heaton has left for Burnley it's a whole new ball game for whichever keeper gets his feet under the table first. This situation could also apply to players in other positions as players leave City it leaves openings for people to move into first team contention rather than thinking they will be at the back of the queue when they first arrive, this could be especially true if as rumours suggest Davies, Baldock and Adomah are all in line to leave. ps I have heard rumours locally in London 'was in a pub though' that Mr 'Mad Dance' Holloway is getting somewhat worried about rumours of Albert leaving for Cardiff and if Palarse get promoted expect a quick bid from them for Albert.
Fleck is apparently a good prospect and would be a good signing for us but others are apparently sniffing around him as well.
18 May 2013 13:52:51 Any bristol city interest in nahki wells? 19 May 2013 10:16:54 Bristol city interested in signing reading goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen on loan for the season. City would like to sign him permanently but reading are reluctant to sell due to his age and what is expected of him in the future. 19 May 2013 14:16:54 Cardiff appear to be the front runners in the chase for Bristol City winger Albert Adomah. Crystal Palace are also interested but Ian Holloway's hands are tied until after the play-off final. At least 3 other Championship clubs have also shown an interest (including Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday) 19 May 2013 19:55:23 Bristol City rumoured to be looking at Rotherham number 1 Scott Shearer as a replacement for Tom Heaton.
The Albert bit ties in with what I was hearing in some London Pub eateries apparently Holloway is getting his knickers in a twist as he can't put in the bid he expects to get Albert for until he gets promotion and is worried Cardiff might pip him to it with a lower but sooner bid.
