Great place to retire - especially if you're a golfer - some excellent courses around there. Played a lot of football around Brampton & district & the airport area over the years.
Monday night game - still pretty cold back home, on Tv - how many do you reckon will not attend ? 2k, 5k or more ? TV certainly does impact such games negatively but I've never really known the true impact on such games.
I've watched quite a bit of rugby over here in the last 40 years. The hard hitting I think may be due to the fact that many of them played ice hockey as well in the winter. There are much fewer expats playing the game over here now, having gradually given way to Canadian lads. Their skill has improved gradually, but not significantly over the years. They are still fearless & hard-hitting. The BC players are far superior to those playing in Ontario & Alberta. The best players play for good club sides in the UK & France...but still only a handful.
Minor blip in form CT. Yourself, TRoo & PhilHull are like limpets - can't shake you off !! With 11 weeks to go anyone could have a good run & take it. Bit like the top 4 or bottom 11 in the Premier League !
