Not bad. Got one team right, I was right that we would get a team with "West" in it on the opening day and I was right we would get a promoted team on Boxing Day.
First ten games we have Liverpool, United and Arsenal away, but all the other fixtures are very winnable, I like it, i like it a lot
Our last 5 bit more difficult than last year. Cardiff Everton n United at home. Villa n Swans away. We have a great oppurtunity to get some points on the board early though, can't wait.
I just realised too that our incredible run of ending the season at home continues. 5 years in a row now.
I too, saw United at home last game and had visions of that fateful spring afternoon of 2005! Tough run of away games from mid September to the end of November. We go to Liverpool, United, Stoke, Arsenal and Chelsea. It'll be vital to win our home games during this period.
Me too *shudders* - let's hope this time round it's us putting them out of Europe. Or something. Anything nicer than that!
Villa's first ten: Arsenal away, Liverpool home, Chelsea away, Newcastle home, Norwich away, City home, Hull away, Tottenham home, Everton home, West Ham away.
If we don't start the season all guns blazing though, we're gonna be in trouble as they are ALL games we can pick points up in. Much better than last year, though I actually really really enjoyed Man City away first game of the season. Bring on West Brom!
Agreed. Interesting that in Uniteds first 5 they have Chelsea at home n trips to both Anfield and the Etihad... Talk about throwing Moyes in at the deep end!
It worries me that we'll hand United a title lifeline, when we rest our best players to safe them for the final ...
From another perspective, in the first twelve fixtures we only face one team (Liverpool) that we actually beat last season. Is not until 30 November that we meet another team we managed to beat (Chelsea).
