Watching Spurs is bloody purgatory nowadays. Only person who's enjoying this less than me is Soldado. Best squad ever? I'm thinking of loads of previous squad players I'd rather have available. One day soon I wanna post a squad-for-squad comparison between our current lot and what we had, say, two or three years ago.
For a simple squad comparison look at who played in that Shamrock game a few years ago in a competition that Harry didnt respect: 23 Cudicini 19 Bassong 22 Corluka 28 Walker 07 Lennon (Townsend - 46' ) 25 Rose (Kane - 80' ) 29 Livermore 46 Carroll 09 Pavlyuchenko 17 Giovani 18 Defoe (Falque - 73' ) Not too shabby, and I remember Townsend really impressing me in that second half.
Decent players Mothman, but they were virtually all demoralised and short of fitness. I know how they feel. We've won the group. Woo.
I see AVB chose Paralysing Fear in his starting XI again. Several opportunities for crossing, players too scared to try.
Well looking at wiki, he has apparently only played 4 times for them this season, so unless he is injured, Arry is not really using him as well and a **** loan spell at that sort age really can set a player back.
He was sent back to the club through injury. Redknapp knows what he's doing with Carroll and is happy to build the midfield around him but unfortunately he got taken out by some dirty thug.
I have never called for a manager to be sacked...not even C Gross! But I do honestly think that we need to change now...I hope I'm wrong and would never boo at a match but we are so one dimensional under him. And in my opinion it aint cos the players are poor...its cos our tactics are.
We never have more than 2 players in the box....we have 3 or 4 out side it so we can keep possession...surely the point of keeping the ball is too score...not so you can bore everyone ****less
