Senna should work with getting some serious backing maybe with Petrobras

HRT sound like they're actually getting their act together, trying to make at least the second test.
And I've just found out they beat Virgin this year as well as in 2010.

    How ****e are Virgin??

After saying they didn't want to cheapen the legacy... real nice.

Senna would accept a reserve driver role which could even be back at Lotus.

He's hardly shown himself to be a shining light, so I imagine he would get overlooked in favour of either more established, or new and exciting talent.

but he's not done badly either, don't gloss over the circumstances he stepped in with no experience and testing, the pundits say he did well. still better reserve than nothing

His age will be a disadvantage, however well he has done, because why would a team want to invest in getting him competitive in F1, by which point he may only have a couple of decent seasons in him? Taking on a younger talent means you can recoup that investment over a longer period of time.

i know which is why i said time's not on his side, but 28 is not too bad, look at webber, barichello, schumacher...

But all of those drivers got into the sport at a much, much younger age. Schumacher was 21 when he made his début, Senna is already 28, with similar experience. Grosjean is 25, which whilst old compared to Alguersari, still gives him an extra 3 years at the top.

I think we're arguing the same point to be honest, I just don't think Schumacher, Webber and Barichello are a good comparison.

I know, but for those who support him, they'd like to see a lifeline...but its just too competitive now, and may be his formula one career is never meant to take off, time will tell
