    1. Vettel
    2. Hamilton
    3. Button

Seb wins the championship, close fight but McLaren drivers just take too many points off each other, Hamilton comes out on top through better consistency than 2011.

1.Hamilton -gaining his spark back he wins the first race of the season and consitnues on from there with the top three cars being more or less equal for this year
2.Alonso- rivalry sparks up between hamilton and alonso again and causes a few on track and off track arguments throughout the season, shares the title lead between himself hamilton and vettel throughout the season
    3. Vettel - unable to compete with alonso and hamilton in similar cars
    4. Button- confident from last season but then slows down in the seond half of the season due to hamiltons resurgence
    5. webber- still unfortunately unabel to make the pirelli tyres work and similar paced cars makes it even harder to for him to keep up
    6. raikonnen- lotus will start slow but then have a strong second half of the season which allows raikonnen to sneak past Massa into 6th which then opens up the ferrari place because he has not met expectations
7.Massa- struggles throughout the season with alonso on form and the media preassure, dropped for 2013
8.Rosberg- i think mercedes will be dropped by the top 3 teams abd are pushed further into the midfield on the terms of force india which cretaes an interesting battle between the two teams. rosberg will find some form this season and drop schumacher
    9. Sutil- the battle between force india allows sutil to compete against the mercedes and take a well fought 9th place by a few points (if they drop him then i dont expect to see a force inda in the top 10)
    10. Schumacher- rosbergs success puts him in the shadows and his results reflect this. his final year in the sport which leaves a spot open in the mercedes camp which could be taken up by either
Raikonnen -not sure on the length of his cotract
Sutil- whether he is dropped or not he would be an option for the team
Di Resta- already linked with the team previously
Hulkenburg- german team may want yet another german driver, but needs to prove himself in 2012 because as of yet we've seen nothing specail( brazil 10 was not special it was a wet set up for the car when the team knew that the race would be dry, they set up the car for qualifying and as a result he finished 8th)
Kobayashi- if he can be as consistant as he was in the first half of the season then this place would be a serious option for him in 2013
Senna- maybe an outsider becasue he hasnt been ina fairly good car for long enough so they cant see how good or bad he is

I think that Alonso's input to Ferrari will bear fruit in 2012 and I expect the car to very comparable to Red Bull and McLaren. As I am convinced that he is the best driver on the grid I think he will be champion, but not by much. Vettel will beat Webber, Button will beat Hamilton and Massa will come sixth, but much closer to Hamilton than this year because his car will be roughly equal. Rosberg seems like a good bet for seventh and, sticking my neck on the block, Di Resta for eighth

    1. Vettel. 1 title made him mature. 2 will take him to another level.
    2. Alonso. Best driver in F1. Even if the car isn't so hot, he'll deliver.
    3. Hamilton. Best McLaren driver, but i smell another poor start to the season coming.
    4. Button. Same reason as hamilton, but he isn't as fast as hamilton.
    5. Webber. Best car, average driver. If he gets higher than 5th it'll be a miracle.
    6. Massa. Getting progressively worse. Should have left Ferrari for his own good.
    7. Rosberg. Don't expect Mercedes to improve much. Better than Schumacher.
    8. Schumacher. Merc will be too slow for the big 3, too fast for everyone else.
    9. Hulkenberg. Rising star, and a real talent. Expect him to lead the FI charge.
    10. Petrov. Lotus will be average, i expect him to annihilate Raikkonen.

    One more thing;

Raikkonen to be dropped mid-season for poor performances. Welcome back to Bob Kubica.

    • Vettel to win the drivers championship again
    • However, Hamilton, Button and Alonso will push him VERY close.
    • Mclaren to win the constructors championship
    • Mercedes to win a race
    • One of the three 'lower' teams will freak a fourth/fifth place finish
    • Sky's coverage to be interuppted by accidental adverts once, á la ITV 2010 world cup
    • BBC F1 figures to drop hugely even when they have the live race, as people say 'I might as well watch on sky the whole time if I'm paying for it"
    • Massa to win a race
    • At least one race with Red Bull NOT on the podium
    • Huge dispute over a new rule similar to double diffusers in 09, to cause controversy and grid penalties galore.

    Make yours now!

Yeah I know its pretty bold and unlikely but I do have this feeling that he will make a resurgence! Reason Hamilton and Webber are down there is because Pirelli have said the tyres next year are going to be even more extreme and Hamilton and Webber are not as good as Vettel, Alonso, Button and co at making the tyres work and not wearing them out :/

I do think it will ultimately be between the two best drivers (in my opinion) Seb and Nando!

Williams would be ******ed to go for him.. Maldonado is **** and Sutil would be perfect for them, why have two (reasonably) unknown quantities for a team which is going downhill?

Fair enough but I think Massa will be even more awful next year. I think different I think Fernando will have another poor car, Seb will make a couple of mistakes as the McLaren is as fast sometimes even faster than the Red Bull.

I think Lewis's raw pace will just beat Jenson maybe by 5 points or so.

Yes, i do have a feeling Massa will up it, I would really like to see him back winning :) And I expect ferrari to have better car next year! To be fair to Seb he has had some wins when his car is not fastest and he has had huge pressure! His wins in Spain & Monaco remind me Senna holding off Mansell at Monaco. I honestly think Alonso is the only one who can stop him unless RB have a bad car next year. Hamilton is too temperamental & inconsistent and Buttons qualifying isnt quite at the same level.

We may all be wrong - Renault might make an awesome car and Kimi might win it :p I still believe on pure raw speed he was the fastest before he left and i believe he will still be one of the fastest!

Correct me if I'm wrong but just for those who don't know, the winter test dates are:

    Jerez ------- 7-11 Feb
    Barcelona -- 21-24 Feb
    Barcelona -- 1-4 Mar

Haha Kimi winning a race would shock me. I disagree with you though I don't believe Kimi is fastest on raw speed:

    Hamilton
    Alonso
    Vettel
    Raikkonen
    Kubica/Rosberg

I however have grown to dislike Massa but I feel he might have a chance of winning IF Ferrari provide a good good car. But I do agree with you Hamilton is too 'crashy' however he said he wanted to finish all the races for the rest of the year at Italy. He did actually only Brazil he retired and he didn't crash into someone!

But if Lewis can avoid incidents then I am sure he will be in the title fight. I personally cannot wait for Testing too see where that McLaren(and Ferrari to an extent) is compared to the Red Bull.
