Whats with this stopping after the finish line. For me its total b*****ks! If you cant get back to the weighbridge (by choice not a mechincal issue), you have not complied with the rules - I thought this was resolved after Lewis stopped after quali in Canada?

Also in relation to Roseberg (which I think was far to agrressive) isn't the rule that you have to leave a car's width? But I think the rule doesn't state which side - I know its a technicallity but I wonder whether thats why they (Stewards) havent made a decession straight away? If this is the case, then tecknically Lewis breached the rules by overtaking outside the track, smiliar to when Vettle went round the outside of Button in Oz - 2011 I think? I know we want racing and excitment but the FIA/Stewards need to get these rules water tight and consistent!

There will always be grey areas smithers. There will never be a set of rules that account for every possibility or scenario that develops

Im glad Massa got his first points this weekend. The car was painfully slow but both drivers did a great job and Massa was very close to Alonso throughout the race. Hopefully Massa will be promoted to seventh when Rosberg and Hamilton get penalties.

In the case of Rosberg, the rules are very clear about forcing drivers off the track. Twice he clearly went too far.

Both sides. It says 'to the edge of the track' so it's whichever side the driver behind is trying to get past on.

Rosberg was getting criticised last season for not being fighty enough, at least he has rectified that this year. :)

Wishful thinking. I dont see post race penalties to affect the race unless they are going to dsq rosberg, but that would be very severe.

If rosberg is penalised it vindicates why hamilton kept his foot in and passed off the track. Think it will be just rosberg who will suffer, if anyone does.

Didn't seem to find Pinkham's joke about ice cream too funny either. <laugh> Love Kimi, brilliant performance from him today, great to have him back. They wen't on and on about his chance to pass Vettel on Sky but I thought he made the right choice, it was a risky move and he wouldn't have known Vettel was going to flick his engine mode up, no point risking his front wing in what seemed an inevitable pass.

Vettel back to his best, imperious when he gets out in front, everything went wrong for the McLarens as well which was a bonus for him. After Australia someone, I think it was Ted Kravitz, was going on about how Sam Michael's had a great impact at McLaren, ignoring the fact Williams made a massive step as soon as he left. Turn out his head of race operations role means he's responsible for pit stops... <laugh>

Great drive from di Resta, kept an eye on him all race expecting him to drop back but he didn't. Difficult weekend for them more than anyone, but he really made light of losing a session on Friday.

David Croft was absolutely terrible. He's completely unable to distinguish between team mates. <doh>

Thought Rosberg's block on Alonso was terrible, it was so late. He was aggressive but fair on Hamilton and di Resta, but it looked like Alonso was alongside when he swerved at him, then to compound it he swerved back across when Alonso looked down the outside, he should definitely be punished for that. Don't see anything wrong with the Hamilton-Rosberg incident, Rosberg's defence looked pretty fair, Hamilton ran off the track but he didn't shorten it so it's no different to cars running wide at turn 4 in Melbourne or Ascari, thought it was a decent move.

Such a shame for Ricciardo after a great performance yesterday. Didn't see what happened to him at the start. :(

Another great race in a classic season. A fourth winning driver in four races, four winning constructors, two more drivers on the podium as well. Brilliant stuff, best season for years, best ever if it carries on like this, looks like potentially being a seven way fight for the title.

We have seen precedents for allowing an overtake made outside the white line when it's round the outside. Reading the rule strictly you're absolutely right but they seem to apply it only for cutting a corner.

Hamilton was behind Rosberg when he pulled out to overtake, Alonso was alongside when Rosberg pushed him off the track.

Reprimands for both Nico and Lewis. Nico for pushing it too far and Lewis for putting himself in danger.

Bad bad bad In my opinion...
