Upgrade at the rear for RBR, vettel has more confidence and mclaren struggling with tyres and balance.
Specifically they've abandoned the 'bridged' exhaust/airflow-crossover solution and adopted a more Sauberesque exhaust.
Errrrrrrrr.... There wasnt much being show on Ferrari I'm afraid in P3. I only saw one run with Massa and he was still a bit unstable but slightly improved compared to yesterday.
I didn't get the impression Ferrari had improved. Turn 10 looked frustrating but there were no big end-swapping dramas like there were yesterday, not that were shown anyway. I didn't notice any locking up from the Ferraris and almost everyone was locking at some point, but they just might not have been shown, or I wasn't paying attention when they were.
Well at least it doesn't look like they will spin off at the first corner, that's a positive.....isn't it?
McLaren always said if they start the season as the fastest they will maintain that advantage, clearly mercedes, red bull have jumped them and renault could also do the same, the 3 week break and Miguello test has come at the best time.
Thanks, I'll try them both out. Pirelli say Mercedes tyre wear is equal to the other teams, then implies its extremely close between Mercedes, McLaren and Red-Bull and is impossible to call which has the edge. "Clearly there are three cars pretty well close together at the front, and sat here now I would not want to call it between McLaren, Mercedes and Red Bull. It would be difficult to say who they think is going to win." http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/99024
Sometimes the ongoing Sky F1 feed doesn't work on some of them - VIPbox is the most reliable but it's not great video quality. When the actual quali or race show is on then each site offers more streams in better quality so you should be able to find one that works.
I don't entirely agree with Pirelli on that. RBR lasted 12 laps with respectful times in the 1.40-1.41, Mercedes had equal times but a big drop after a few laps, McLaren were slower than both and didn't last very long on the tyres. Only Lotus looked equal to red bull on race pace.
