All looks okay to me, assuming we stay up. Hopefully there'll be some dead wages freed up this summer as well. Bearing in mind wage increases due to promotion(s) some of our deadwood players must currently be on (relatively) inflated wages. There'll be some contracts expiring in the summer and no doubt some others will also be leaving.

Those actually aren't terrible numbers; those cover the Championship numbers, and the losses therein have already been converted to share capital. We were around break-even for this season per the numbers supplied over the winter (which would have included the Ramirez transfer), and with fairly minimal spending during the transfer window we're likely to actually turn a profit...particularly if we maintain our current position in the league, as 12th is worth around 6.5m more than 17th.

Edit: though, actually, with the extensions that we've handed out, bonuses might take a large chunk out of that theoretical profit.

Last season Norwich, in 12th place, earned 2.5 Million more than QPR in 17th.:1980_boogie_down:

Yeah, you're right and I'm wrong; was using the '13-'14 merit payments because I may have forgotten what year this is. :bandit:

Um, OK, but I was just reinforcing your point by illustrating the difference.:D

But my 6.5m number was off; if memory serves, it's closer to 800k per additional position this year. Next year, though, Cortese will have to build an addition to the training ground just to hold the excess cash.
