Well, yes, they should have clamped down on the front wing long ago but they haven't so it's down to their rivals to copy or better it, which they haven't either. It is easy to say that it's becoming dull, especially after Valencia but the last race in Canada was anything but boring and Red Bull didn't win either. I agree with the OP, I have to blame Red Bull's rivals for not building competitive cars; Alonso, Button and Hamilton at least deserve machinery to challenge in and as fans, we deserve better too.

You can slice it and dice it all you like but until I see Vettel battling and racing and going wheel to wheel with Hami and Alonso in similar matched cars instead of driving off in the sunset with his cigars in some pussy ar**d tyre management competition formally known as F1 racing then I cease to be impressed.
    Got that.

I somewhat agree. I dont rate Vettel up with Alonso and Vettel as we havnt yet seen him wheel to wheel against them yet. Where as we have seen plenty of Hami vs Alonso and they are pretty equal

    Agreed.

Vettel has been under pressure four times this season. Twice he has been taken during the closing stages, once making an error.

Monaco would of been a good challenge but the stupid red flag tyre rules messed it up

Hmm, did anyone think Vettel seemed especially pleased when he won yesterday, particularly as it had seemed such a perfunctory victory? I think that was the sound of a man who knows he's won, not the race, but the championship.

It's probably because no driver could match him in pace or tyre wear all day, thats another massive boost for a guy...well is already looking solid as a rock. Nothing I feel will phase him after that win, he's very, very confident in himself and he knows he can do more.

He must now consider himself untouchable regarding tyres, even if the EBD does hurt and slow him down slightly it only means he'll go on for another 3-5 laps on the option since they wont endure that amount of damage compared to previous races having to slow down.

    Crazy, just flipping crazy....

Well, yeah, I guess, generally speaking, the younger the driver, the faster he'll adapt to changes such as the new tyres. Of course, being out front, he's not wearing his tyres as quickly as those who are fighting to gain positions.

So long as it is fair, any Championship is worth the same as any other.

One should remember that car racing is ultimately a test of man and machine and that all else being equal, it is the best combination of these two elements which merits a World Champion.

N.B. North North Watford has correctly identified the clearest exception, where I actually do think it was "hollow". - The only reason Williams did not protest it was because they had their hands full of Italian legal fallout of Senna's death. Under normal circumstances, Schumacher's move would have prompted an investigation, which at the time, was not done unless a team raised a protest.

I'm going to be a spoilsport:
I have no idea what you guys are discussing. Is there some relevance to Formula 1 ?

Cosicave - its football. Wenger is(was?) Arsenal's manager. Spurs are a 'noisy' neighbour. HaHa.
Its what we do between F1 races, and after the F1 season ends.

You've got me here El_Bando! :) This sentence threatens to alter my diet. It's not so much a pinch of salt; more a case of the main ingredient(s?).

    - I'm totally confused.

    Probably true.

However, I can't resist the temptation to suggest it looks like a quote from one of those pseudo-intelligent footballers who cannot conjugate a sentence…
