Wessi's has had two very frustrating years with Hughton and it pretty easy to understand how he got so pissed off to lash out like he did. He's our longest serving player and looks now like he will end his career with us, he must have some affection for the club you don't spend 8 years at a club otherwise. He did upset a lot of fans but I think this should be considered a clean sheet for him.
I didn't like his behavior last season and I wouldn't have cared if he went. But I'm happy to forget that now if he gives it 100% and as Bath said, it's a clean sheet for him and I hope he'll have a good season.
Starting to get impressed with Neil Adams. I think this is a good move, Wes can produce magic which is a difficult player to find. Happy with Adams giving some frozen out players a chance to prove their point. Surman, Wes, maybe Pilks as well. Still think the RVW move was wrong but not sure it was Adams choice
I'm also impressed with Adams' man-management so far. Players seem to be responding to it as well. Sadly I think it was RvW who made the decisionb about his leaving. Adams made it very clear that he wasn't being 'forced out', as some have claimed.
I'm also impressed with Neeyul's man management skills so far, but I can't say I'm surprised by them, always expected that to be a big strength he'd bring to the table.
All we need now is a strong powerful CB and we are good to go ,a swap deal with Bassong would be fantastic he should still be highly rated by other clubs.
Great to have Wes raring to go again. Also, possibly a loan deal for either a CB or RB once the PL teams have named their squads.
