What a way to start. The players and manager will now have a bit confidence and I hope this continues to Saturday, but when was the last time we were winning 3-0 at HT. and when was the last time we scored more than 5 at home?

Hmm, short term memory is no good and I wont cheat!. Have witnessed us score an abundance of goals against Rotherham and Southend. I think the Milwall 6-0 was prior to those. Not saying that these are the last time though.

It was reported that it was our biggest win for 22 years and the best debut by any manager in our history., not certain of these facts, but it must be very close to the truth. Magic night brilliant result.

    Nick sharky scored 5

Chelsea at home 4-0 at HT.
Even then though being a typical Sunderland fan when Poyet scored to make it 4-1 in second half I started panicking. <laugh>

Didn't we put 5 past Wolves in the Premier League under fatty Bruce (live on sky), 2009/10?
