Yeah but what I don't get is has he left Brentford on a perm for Crawley as neither the clubs list Gary Alex as a player on their web sites players list?

All I know is that he joined Crawley from Brentford on loan until the end of last season.

Wikipedia says he's a Crawley player so fair enough but hasn't updated his career profile.
