Omnishambles - is that the new definition of QPR? I've just seen bothroyd at watford gap services, says he's nailed on to score at Chelsea tomorrow
Option 1 is to bring back Bothroyd and Campbell and give some young blood a chance...option 2 is to bring in older players, the like of Cole who have probably still got a little to offer but have really had their day, so would be let go by their current clubs. Sadly, neither guarantees we survive this year, but the first option leaves us with options in the future as the young blood develops, whereas the second option leaves us with a huge wage bill, and players who are only ever going to get worse next year. No easy fix. Omnishambles it is then...
On a serious note, Im really worried about us throwing more money down the pan and still being relegated. Wheres that going to leave us, other than technically bankrupt. Personally I think we need to re-group with what we have, call back all of those loaned out, somehow get rid of the dross, and go with that whilst at the same time plan for next seasdon in the championship if thats how it turns out. I just hope to god that our overpaid, under performing wasters have regation clauses in their contracts. If they dont I think that Phil Beard should resign.
Nearly 17 hours gone and no signings! We're running out of time! (Flyer, the CEO would surely have to agree these contracts?)
Got to agree with all of that Pardon my ignorance but what was Beard's job before the Millennium Dome business? Any previous experience in the sector?
Anyone know if the players have a relegation wage drop in their contracts? Some of them like bosingwa probably wouldn't want to leave as no one else would want them and they are on mega bucks with you. Redknapp talks about selling him in jan but realistically who is going to buy him?
Bet you think sheep are cute, Wales is a nice place and people are not laughing at your stupid sounding accent
