I was listening at my son's house and I erupted when that when in. That was of course followed with an "Oh dear, it's been disallowed". Still, my son is a Man U supporter so I'm sure his partner is used to that. <laugh>

Gutted though. 3 points would have been a God send.

This is an interesting one - as you say deano was onside by a long way and the linesman certainly got that wrong. However Johnson was offside when the initial free-kick was played in, so should have been flagged offside (the lino also got that wrong!)

so, for once, it appears 2 wrongs do make a right!

I hope Paris is ok, we desperately need him fit for at least the last 2 games, when he went off we lost all attacking creativity. Kuffour was absolutely god awful, he really should've been wearing a Northampton shirt, I can't recall him keeping the ball for more than 3 seconds or finding his man with a pass. Didn't see the Ingram o.g. as I was late to the ground due to the awful traffic, but that's the first mistake he's made in two years as #1, plus he's still only 20. We desperately need him to stay next year, anyone know if his contract is up at the end of this season?

I think Ingram has another year but with Premier League teams watching him i doubt he'll be a Wycombe player next season as we need the cash, fact of life i'm afraid. <wah>

Hmm I didn't realise Premier League teams were still sniffing around him, hopefully today puts them off (for our sake!). If this takeover does materialise then we won't need the cash, but we never stand in the way of a player looking to advance his career in any case. He does deserve to play at a higher level though, even at school it was clear that he was a class and a half above everyone else.

Looks like a cracking game at Portsmouth. 2-2 at half time. Matt Harrold scored twice for Bristol R, one a header.

The form Bristol R showed there, (despite losing) indicates they will be very difficult for us. And Fleetwood beat Chesterfield yesterday

Fleetwood won at Cheltenham Ron. 2 Rovers players had to go off injured which might help us next weekend.

2 players injuried today and apprently their season is over. smith who is our RB has been our best player by far this season. he has always given 100% every game when many others havent. he was our player of the season last season and no doubt will be our player of the season this season. the other player injured (woodards) just recently come back from injury. he has missed all season and not played that much football in the last few weeks. however he is 1 of our better players. he plays RB and CB.
2 other players took knocks today and are doubts for Monday and maybe even doubts for next weekend for our big game. parkes who plays CB and lockyer who is also a CB but has been play CM most of the season.

if all 4 are out then we have no RB in the squad meaning whoever plays RB will be out of position. and our cover CB (keary) is a very young and inexperienced.

all of a sudden our normal reliable defence (our attack has been the issue this season) is very weak.

    im very worried.

no matter what happens on monday in your game and our game, next weekend wycombe vs rovers will be massive. say we win and you lose on monday, we will only be 3 points ahead of you. or vice versa you be 3 points ahead of us. there will 3 just 3 points in it between us when we face each other!

i cant see you beating fleetwood and im not confident in beating out of form rochdale on monday. i think it could go down to goal difference. so hopefully fleetwood knock 5 past you on monday <whistle>

like i said last week, our game next weekend will be massive and could decide things!

ron, in the ups and downs thread on rovers board, your prediction for the drop in the championship may need to be looked at again <whistle>

If the goal difference is the same then it goes to goals scored where we lead you by 2 which doesn't need to catch us obviously but if we both lose on monaday and draw with you we finish with Torquay away so i still have some hope of survival.
