Ma first motor was a Nissan Bluebird.

It was blue.

This bad boy but with 16inch alloys. Bought it for 600 then got my licence then got 12month ban after only 3 months <cry>

P.s. it was an Opel not yer ****ey Vauxhall

I had a Bluebird. Mine was black though. Stank of petrol and, when it got a hole in the exhaust, it sounded like a light aircraft. Went like **** off a stick though.

It was a great wee car. I got mine out of one of those car markets where you bid on the motor you want. Got it for £900 as far as I remember.

I could start the engine and then take the key out of the ignition and lock the car while leaving the engine running. Fantastic for cold mornings when I could leave the car running to heat up while securely locked. Probably a fault in my car because I doubt it's a feature to have a locked and running car. <laugh>

Great for me, though, cos I lived in an upstairs flat at the time.

I paid a massive 900 soves for an Austen Montego at Newmains car market. It was a B reg and 1600 cubic capacity. I got it out the gates of the market and the **** broke down. 1991 it was

It's still lying there to this day with a faded police aware sticker on it.

Not my first car but my all time fave was a 4.2 Litre Jaguar XJ6. Only vehicle I ever owned that drank more than I did. Cost a weeks wages to fill that ****er up - it had two petrol tanks - and you could see the fuel gauge move one way when the speedo went the other.

Also, the electrics were ****. Every time I flicked the indicator, the radio changed channels, and it had these daft ceramic fuses that kept falling out. God I loved that car.
