Look at the top sides - Spurs, Man U, Arsenal, Man City - you do realise that negative play by a north east side includes turning up for the game!!

    Swansea must be lottle angels!

I'm sorry but haven't Arsenal had about 30 players sent off this season?

Here's where the passionate fans probably drag their clubs down a few places.

    6. Behaviour of the public

Maximum score = 10
    Minimum score = 0

All teams begin with a score of 5 points. A maximum of a further 5 points can be added for:

    - Verbal support in acceptable form
    - Covert recognition of outstanding play by the opponents

A maximum of 5 points can be deducted for:

    - Persistent foul and abusive language
    - Persistent abuse of the officials’ decisions
    - Aggressive and threatening conduct towards opposing fans

Obviously Arsenal's fans aren't going to do this because you can't understand what 60,000 southern wideboys sound like when all talking at the same time, just sounds like a load of ducks being stamped on, completely indecipherable by the FA so they get the benefit of the doubt because their manager is such a stand up guy who never moans about refs.

Reading the rules about the agressive behaviour by the fans.. what about Blackburn and the Steve Kean saga?

You kidding? We have one of the most aggressive teams in the league, and long may it continue. I bet we cover as much ground as almost any other team. Just go through our team:

    Krul - Loves time wasting
Simpson - aggressive and normally prone to the odd loose tackle
Saylor - Good centre half who is more than happy to commit a professional foul if he thinks its required
Colo - Normally serene but has the odd moment and defo has that latin temperament if you piss him off
Raylor - Pretty dirty to be honest and doesn't mind going over the top of the ball. Just a bit spicy. Also playing out of position most of season so mistimed tackles lead to bookings.
Tiote - No comment needed really. Its as if he doesn't feel his work is done until he's been booked.
Cabaye - Can be pretty dirty with his tackles and not adverse to leaving one in on folk. Has a great desire to get the ball back too which can get him in trouble. Gets plenty bookings.
Guthrie - Likes to kick folk for no apparant reason, and loves giving away free kicks in dangerous positions. Strangely missing from his game a bit this year when he has managed to stay fit
Jonas - Normally I would have said it would be his comcial diving that would get him booked, but this year its his tackling. Most of his bookings have been down to tiredness I think.
Obertan - Would never get close enough to someone to get a booking
Ba - Wouldn't waste his time with bookings. Its like when I go out I don't waste my time with food taking up beer room. Demba doesn't want yellows eating up time that could be spent scoring.
Best - Not at all really but he should be booked for his lack of understanding of the offside rule.
Benni - Tackle? Me? Nah. Doesn't seem the type but I could see him being a stroppy little fecker if someone upset him.
Perch - A bit like Tiote, feels he must get booked.
Williamson - Seems to avoid the bookings in the main, but he's no shrinking violet
Santon - Not so far but he is Italian so probably prides himself on his 'professional' fouls
Gosling - Bit like Guthrie, likes to kick folk for no real reason.
Smith - If they'd let him on the pitch he'd show them how its done properly. Just pure filth his tackling. Wrote the book on excessive force!
Marveaux - Couldn't see it. Be too scard of tweaking his groin.
Shola - Likes to get his fair share but you couldn't call him dirty. Usually too lazy to get close enough to any damage.

I'm not interested in how we do in the fair play league. We can't get anywhere near while we retain Tiotes services so I'm not bothered where we are. We've been pretty physical this year. One of our main assets is our workrate when the oppo has the ball. Bookings go hand in hand with that naturally as you'll always be close to the line.
