    Hi everyone,

Hope it’s alright to post this, feel free to take it down if not. I’m selling a 1992-93 Hull City ‘Tiger print’ shirt on eBay and was wondering if anyone might be interested. One bid so far which is at £175, with just until Monday left until the auction ends. If anyone collects Hull City memorabilia it could be a good addition.

    Thanks!

    How come it's so expensive?

Must have cost a fraction of that

    Hi City man,

Yeah it’s pretty mad how much they go for! Not sure what they used to go for as it’s only come into my possession in the last few years. I guess it’s due to it being on those ‘Worst/Best shirt ever’ rankings and that there can’t be an awful lot of them left!

Interesting it's going for that much.

I've got one tucked away somewhere, condition: a bit bobbly I recall.

    Hi Leon,

Yeah I was surprised when I found out, a lot of the City shirts from the 90s seem to sell for quite a lot. Maybe one of the only positives of supporting them back then!

Have you had someone stick the bid on for you to create a false price?

    Hi Ben,

Whilst I am aware this does happen, the bid I received was genuine. I’ve seen them go for in excess of £200 before, it seems these shirts are popular from bidders overseas.

    Crazy money!

Would be good to donate, say, 75% of that profit to Dove House?

You’d have to be a complete ****ing moron to place an opening bid of £175.

Which is why I doubt anyone did.

He set the start price at £175, so any opening bid had to be of that as a minimum value. However I would agree that anyone willing to pay upwards of that amount is indeed a complete ****ing moron.

It is a lot of money but there does seem to be the demand for them. Many City shirts from that era seem to fetch a high price, you can check recently completed sales on eBay to see how much these shirts sell for.

Might as well leave it up. There's no one on here daft enough to spend £175 plus on that ****ing abhorrent abomination.

Ehab's daft enough. He'd most likely exchange for one of our (non-existent) strikers + our salubrious manager.
"Save the Tiger" (Polo pony equivalent) Ehab. You can do it.

I've looked a few times at shirts from that era as I fancied getting one , and they are always going for that price, no idea why tho .
