Its not that Gerrard is bad, just there there have been so many great CM's over the PL years.
Vieira, Keane, Lampard, Gerrard, etc
You can make a case for them, so to not instantly include Gerrard is not necessarily stupid.
But with Giggs, who else on the left wing comes close for all of his talent, longevity, medal haul etc.
There have been other great left wingers in the PL, Robben, Pires, Duff, etc, but they all only had a couple of seasons in the PL at the top of their game.
Giggs owns that category.

That's the man I would want in my PL All Time XI team.

There are so many " Great "players over the Premier League's span that there is practically no right and wrong team ....but there are a few players who should be on all posters teams IMO ...Giggs is one , Shearer is another . One won many titles and the other only one , winning titles doesn't make a player great , winning titles makes a team great . Some great players have had a super supporting cast while others great players ...not so much . A great player is a great player regardless of what a team does IMO
