I didn't vote at all as I was only 8.

But the EU is the most corrupt organisation in modern history & I despise it.

I would be happy to stay in and remain outside of the Euro as the alternatives are realistically not particularly appealing.

If Greece fails it will still have a major impact on us but at least it might have the benefit of tightening up the criteria for countries remaining in the EU as there is only so long that the rich will prop up those who's fiscal policy we created on the back of a beer mat.

The Eu cemented democracy in Germay and Italy after the war and made it clear to Spain and Portugal that they would have to become democracies before they joined.

They still were not before democracy though, were they.

I am not saying they didnt twist some countries arms to become a democratic country before they could join, but its democracy that is stopping us tearing each other apart in wars, rather than the EU itself.

Do you know what gets on my tits though?

Scotland supposedly wants it's independence but wishes to remain financially dependent on the UK!

Have your cake & eat my ****? WTF?

Now there is a completely different subject - I would be more than happy for Scotland to be independent so long as they were properly independent in as much as they we financially independent as well - it would probably last about 5 years until they realised how hard it is to go it alone

I agree. I have a lot of friends in Glasgow & I don't think they will go for this at all.

The last time they were sounded out about it only 5% wanted it.

Like a lot of Commonwealth countries they go mad for their independence, then when they get it they'll come to England for the benefit system

so 1 war over 2000 years ago and when democracy was in its infancy, yeah whatever.

I never said they have never started any wars, but you could argue the country they are going to war with, is usually a dictatorship who are slaughtering their own ppl, so deserved to have the west/democracy kicking their arse.
