I recall aged 13, with my Dad, listening to the Birmingham & Leicester evening match commentaries, huddled around the transistor radio in the kitchen, and the next morning, both of us racing down the stairs to the letterbox to grab the Telegraph newspaper, to be the first to read the match report.

Watching the Cup Final on TV was such a roller-coaster for us, so down in the dumps at half-time, then such a wonderful, exhilarating 2nd half performance to clinch victory.
