    the 3 left are the keeper Groves -born in Traedyrhiew, amateur international, Thomas - signed from Abergregnon Juniors and Williams - joined from Lougbor Rovers

    its not spelled Troedyrhiw is it ..thats pronounced .....troyed ar ewe or the way you have it Tried ar ewe

    ...just googled it on the map and it looks like the programme has got it wrong spelling wise..or todays modern welsh has taken over, the only place i can find near Merthyr Tydfyl is ..Troedyrhiw .. pronounced .....troyed ar ewe......when the programme was published there was still a lot of industrialised/anglesised spelling and pronounciation around you can still see this in Llanelli for example you will see on older buildings "Llanelly" this might be the case with your programme it might have been the spelling of the time and has since reverted back to the original

    thanks bongo, anyway missing three are Gwyn Groves (GK), David Thomas (FB) and Darwell Williams - dunno if any of you have heard of them.

    i have Welsh amateur international,born traedyrhiew near Merthyr Tydfil, had trials with Aston Villa and Bristol Rovers while at college, a six footer

    for Thomas - born Cymmer near Port Talbot, signed for swansea from Abergregon Juniors, converted from inside forward this season and has also played at half back

    as for Williams - joined Swansea from loughor juniors, and has played regularly for the last 2 seasons - all it says re him

    a wonderful piece of football history from nearly 60 years ago and i am sure the players mentioned would be glad that some fans around today still remember them
