    Remember that heavy ball, Zen (and all the mud). Sadly heading the former seems to be a factor in the high rate of dementia amongst former footballers.

    yes the mud ! sadly yes when you look at the rates of dementia in the world cup winning team there seems to much evidence to not say it must be a factor. . i used to play as a kepper we used to play one team and the pitch had a dip in the middle and it was weird to watch as they nearly disappeared from sight and then appear. whilst the pitch was not as bad as the picture it was a bog in the winter and trying to catch the ball was not any fun. coming off at the end of the game and you looked like a mud monster!
